All are invited to our final session of 2022 on Monday, December 12 from 7-9 pm at the Danish Hall in Enumclaw. We will close out the year with a few dances and some time to share a treat and a cup of tea, cider or cocoa. We are inviting people to bring a holiday treat to share. The idea is for small finger foods.

After the holidays, we are hoping to resume Monday night sessions on January 9, 2023. Please join us and bring a friend! Watch this website for further details.

Happy holidays everyone!

Due to possible freezing temperatures November 28 we are cancelling our 7:00-9:00 pm dance class. Weather willing, we are planning on meeting December 5 and 12 before breaking for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Dancing will resume Monday, January 9, 2023 depending on weather and COVID levels. Check this website calendar for dates.

We are inviting dancers and friends to come help us support the Seattle Highland Games Association at the Enumclaw downtown Santa Parade this coming Saturday evening, December 3. The parade forms up around 5:30 and starts at 6:00. Look for the Scottish banners and listen for the sound of bagpipes at the north end of downtown, either on Cole St. or Railroad St. near Washington Ave. Dress for the weather and wear some tartan!

Dancing

Scottish country dancing will resume on November 7 from 7-9 pm. Location is the Danish Hall at 1708 Porter St, Enumclaw. Masks still optional for those with up-to-date vaccines. Please be willing to share your vaccine status or when you last had the virus. Cost is $5 per person and no partner is necessary. Don’t forget your ghillies! For new people, soft-soled flexible shoes are recommended.

The group met April-July and had a lot of fun bringing back old favorite dances and exploring new ones. We had a great time getting reacquainted. Come join the fun!
